RESIDENCY INFORMATION:

·  Artists at any level in their career can apply to this program.

·  Applications will be considered according to relevance and suitability to this unique opportunity.

·  Artists who are new to the Kansas Flint Hills and surrounding region will be prioritized.

·  Artists traveling with their families are absolutely welcome to this program.

RESIDENTS MUST PROVIDE:

·  Their own transportation.

·  Food throughout their stay.

·  An artist report on our website about their experience at Prairieside Outpost.

OUR RESIDENCIES INCLUDE:

·  A privately situated, charming and well-appointed family-friendly house that can comfortably fit 4 people.

·  A separate studio, located adjacent to the house.

·  8 acres of private prairie land surrounding the house.

·  Access to the local arts community and galleries in Matfield Green and Chase County, Kansas.

·  An easy walk or scenic drive in open range land within the Flint Hills.

·  Artist residencies awarded through our competitive program typically last 7-14 days and there is no fee to participate.
